Joanne Livolsi


Joanne has been in the health and fitness industry for over 21 years, and is currently employed as a personal trainer at The Claremont Club, Claremont California. Joanne works with all populations and specializes in working with women entering perimenopause or menopause.

Joanne completed her Undergraduate work at Hunter College, and C.W.Post and received a B.S. in Education. She later went on to receive her Master’s degree at California State University, Fullerton in Kinesiology. She published her thesis in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning in 2001, titled “The effect of chromium picolinate on muscular strength and body composition in women athletes”. She presented this topic at the ACSM Southwest annual meeting in 1998 to her fellow peers. 

As a Master trainer at the Claremont Club, Joanne holds periodic seminars on Menopause and combines her wit, energy and humor with the latest scientific data to motivate and educate her audience. 

Joanne is currently working on publishing a book titled “Abs Are Made in the Kitchen” (An exercise and diet guide for Perimenopause and Menopause).
